R'Present Network + Inclusivity

HERO was created with the intention of bringing together a mix of people with unique stories and experiences to create impactful, original videos. After working with young, diverse and talented crews in the Music industry, we noticed a lack of diversity and a prevalence of uniformity in the commercial production industry. We realised that talented individuals who had been working in other sectors were struggling to find new paths and experiences in the commercial world; and the change was welcomed and celebrated by our clients.

This realisation strengthened the goal of providing opportunities to these individuals and bringing together a diverse group of talented filmmakers. We recognise that films are made of stories, and stories are made of people so by prioritising diversity and inclusion within our extended workforce, we aim to create films that are representative of the world we live in and tell stories that resonate with audiences from all walks of life.

The name "HERO" represents the idea of celebrating everyday heroes and the strength and resilience they possess. It also signifies the ambition it takes to rise to new heights, to view every day as another opportunity for growth, and the bravery to put your best and worst ideas out there.

HERO aims to create a space where all individuals are valued and celebrated for their unique talents and experiences.

Our network encompasses all roles related to production, including pre-production, production, and post-production. From writers and directors to editors and sound designers, we value the contributions of every role in the video production process. By bringing together a diverse range of talent, we aim to create dynamic and engaging content that resonates with audiences around the world.

We understand that some employees need a break from the hustle and bustle of the office. That's why we have a quiet room that provides a comfortable, peaceful environment for anyone who needs it. This space is free from loud noises and distractions, allowing individuals to relax, meditate, or recharge their batteries.

Social Activities:

At HERO Films, we believe that social activities are essential for team building and employee morale. That's why we organize weekly, monthly, and quarterly events to help our team members get to know each other outside of work. Whether it's team drinks, office games, or community service projects, we provide opportunities for everyone to participate and have fun.

Weekly Team Meetings:

Communication is essential to the success of any team, and we make sure to hold weekly team meetings to ensure that everyone is on the same page. During these meetings, we discuss current projects, share updates, and offer feedback to ensure that our work is aligned with our goals.

Interactive Office Events:

In addition to social activities and team meetings, we organize interactive events to promote creativity and collaboration. These events range from brainstorming sessions to design challenges, and they allow our team members to work together in new and exciting ways.

Pay Equity and Mentorship Programs:

These plans include regular 1 to 1 sessions to discuss feedback and improvements, as well as opportunities to attend training and workshops to expand their skill set.
